| Vicki Jones is an illustrator and designer specialising in graphic art and fashion illustration. Graduating from University College Falmouth, England, with a BA (Hons) in Illustration in 2009 she has since been working freelance as well as in-house for a range of active sports apparel companies such as Hurley and Nikita. Alongside this she also works on commissions from a range of clients that vary from logo design to editorials.
Vicki has recently returned from California where she spent 3 months interning at Rock Steady Clothing, Santa Ana, illustrating and producing graphic artwork for their ladies and mens t-shirts. Other work included occasional freelance projects for some of their private labels and assisting in redesigning and building their new website. She still works freelance, continuing to produce artwork for their t-shirts. In addition, Vicki is sponsored by Misticon, a London based women's sports clothing brand by Charlotte Dutton, ex Volcom sponsored snowboarder and model, to produce artwork and print designs (placement and yardage) for their t-shirts, textiles, bikinis, apparel and look books. Previously Vicki has interned as a graphic design assistant at ExtremePie.com for 6 months, designing banners, promotional flyers for distribution and assisting with catalogue designs. Vicki also worked for 5 months as a part time fashion studio assistant at Bolongaro Trevor, a clothing label designed by Kait Bolongaro and Stuart Trevor (founders and former designers behind All Saints). From her experience Vicki has built up a high level of Adobe software skills, particularly in Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign and Dreamweaver. She maintains strong drawing and illustrative skills and enjoys producing artwork and graphics both digitally and by hand. |
