Coming from the island of Cyprus, I am 21 years old and currently studying Mathematics at the University of Manchester. Ever since I picked up my first Canon SLR at the age of 14, photography has been my passion and I have been taking it to a further level every time. I am self-taught with my only guidance being online tutorials and a few tips from various sources. As a result, I experiment a lot and keep creativity to the maximum.
I am still a university student thus I am unable to move constantly around UK (or globally), but I can always work it out if needed. I have officially shot for a variety of popular bands and at festivals. Although I prefer photography in the rock/metal scene since that is what interests me the most, I am always open to all sorts of ideas!
I do not relate to any magazines/webzines/publicists, therefore I always obtain passes myself; either by emailing bands and artists directly or by contacting the labels. I would be most interested in working freelance for a few proper magazines or webzines, popular or not, as long as I can obtain my photo-passes for all concerts and get a few of my live photos published.
I use Canon equipment and I post-process all my images for the best outcome. I often use high image contrasts, strong colors, ambiance, movement, feelings as well as detail, sharpness and passion which total up for a creative composition captured through the lens.
