Occupation: Architecture student and freelance artist Location: João Pessoa, Brazil - unavailable for working outside the city for the moment, unless it's an online job, then I can take it. Short bio: I'm a 23 years old brazilian guy who loves football, beach, to play music, good company and, most of all, to draw and create new things. I'm finishing the Architecture course at university in about a couple of years, so I can finally start searching for jobs involving architecture or illustration/concept art. I got interested in drawing maybe a bit later than usual. While most people discovered they wanted to be artist as soon as they can remember, I only noticed that at 12, back in 1999, when I first saw The Mummy in theaters. Only after seeing it I realized I'd want to work with drawing and illustration for the rest of my life. I also got in late at digital painting: I did my first digital doodles in 2008, when I was 21. I learned both media in the "hard", selftaught way, but it's being very rewarding so far. I had some comissions made, most of them were for friends or people around the city, only recently I was offered to illustrate works for supermarkets and the government of my State. I'm usually paiting whatever I want, and that includes portraits, caricatures, cartoons, comic books, landscapes, concept and character designs, logos and so on). And for being a selftaught artist, I developped my own drawing and painting styles. I think being a creative is all of this: to always try new things, to never give up, to impress yourself more than everybody else, being part of something special at every stroke we do.
