| I have been a professional illustrator and graphic designer for over 25 years- born and bred in London where I work from a home studio.
I worked as Art Editor on Custom Car and Superbike magazines for 3 years before working freelance for several London design companies and publishing houses- designing logos, book covers, posters and record sleeves for a broad range of clients including George Michael and Simon Cowell. I decided to focus on Illustration and became heavily influenced by the poster artists of the 1930's, some of the unsung heros of graphic design- Artists like Tom Purvis, Joseph Binder and Frank Newbould as well as Cassandre and the brilliant Ludwig Hohlwein. I have worked on a broad range of projects - from logo and web design to 3D rendering and photo-retouching as well as book covers and 2 award winning poster campaigns in the UK and USA. I'm currently working on a series of retro poster images for limited edition prints. |
