| Jenny Reynish lives and works near Colchester, UK. She is a freelance illustrator, working mainly in publishing. She uses a variety of traditional media, including watercolour,oil, gouache, acrylic and mixed media, as well as black and white.
Her style is decorative, eye catching and colourful, and would work well for a range of applications for both adults and children. She is particularly interested in travel and multicultural subject matter, and often works from sketches made while travelling abroad. She has worked for publishers in the UK and USA Her books include 'The Great Night Journey, Stories from Islam' for chlildren ' 1001 Pearls of Bible Wisdom', a gift book for adults ' Pumpkin Butterfly', Poetry for children She has also had several commissions for 'Cricket Magazine', including a cover design, and hasdone some card designs. Her most recent commission was a calendar featuring vegetaian recipes from around the world for The New Internationalist and Amnesty International. She has also exhibited widely in the UK, and worked as Artist in Residence over the course of ten years for Nature in Art near Gloucester, UK |
