 What clients/projects are you currently working on?
currently, i am working on a book titled "robo buddy" for a publishing company in canada, rubicon publishing.
i am also finishing up a character branding assignment for tupperware. tupperware gives me the creative freedom every illustrator loves.
How did you get into cartoon/childrens animation?
basically, just watching cartoons on tv, i base my style on the hanna barbara cartoons in the late 50's-early 60's. yogi bear, huckleberry hound, etc. i was also a lifelong doodler.
what was the most enjoyable job you've worked on?
the most enjoyable job i've worked on would have to be "little rhino has no horn." it is my wife terri and my first book together. terri wrote it and i did the illustrations
What do you enjoy most about your career?
getting to draw cartoons all day! plus working out of my home gives me a chance to spend more time with my family.
What would you like to contribute to your field?
eventually to sponsor a yearly illustration scholarship at my art school, the art institute of pittsburgh.
Do you aspire be in the illustration field in 5-10years?
yes, working on more of my children's books.
