Gary Cooper has been in the illustration and animation business for over 25 years. His illustration work spans the genre of the business from advertising through point of sale and editorial. In the late 80's he branched out into animation background work for small studios in Toronto. In 95' he was hired by Fox Feature Animation as Senior Computer Background Artist working on Anastasia and briefly on Titan AE. His experience there opened the door to be hired by Nelvana Animation Studios in Toronto where he worked on the T.V. series George Shrinks and Cyberchase. Recently he worked for Cosgrove Hall in Manchester UK on the series LIkeaballs which is airing on the CBBC and a Photoshop tutorial for the April 07 issue of Advanced Photoshop.
With regards to illustration, he's been teaching himself 3D and has integrated it into his 2D work producing an even broader offering of his illustration style.
