I received my B.F.A., in Computer Art(now Digital Media) at Stephen F. Austin State University and my M.A. in 2003 and M.F.A. in 2004 in Digital Media from S.F.A. . During my undergraduate years I co-founded the Computer Arts Club at S.F.A. which included annual exhibitions of digital art by S.F.A students. I have exhibited my art both regionally and nationally including exhibitions in Los Angeles, California and Houston, Texas. My art was recognized with the Best of Show award for my student photography from the Art Director’s Club of Houston Annual Show in 2003 as well as recognition for my work in illustration and digital art. My work has been published in several widely syndicated publications including a featured cover in Photographer’s Forum Magazine, INKED Magazine(now FOCUS Magazine), B&W Magazine, etc.
Most recently, I took on a position as Professor of Gaming and Simulation Development at Tyler Junior College in Tyler Texas, the largest single campus two year school in the state of Texas and one of the largest in the U.S. . There, I coordinate the art/graphics track and teach a wide variety of courses in 3d modeling, 3d animation, concept art and illustration, as well as hybrid digital/traditional fine art courses.
I am currently looking to pursue freelance contract work in concept design, illustration, and photography in commercial entertainment with film, video games, and books.
