PNW has just featured my works in the Artist Highlight section!!! It's always such a joy to see my works on other websites. So huge THANKS to the guys at PNW for featuring me and making my day!!!
Finished one set of the BEASTMODE designs and I've had so much fun on this project! Experimenting with a bunch of effects and media's has taught me a lot about the different designs that you can produce. Here is a little bit about them:
“BEAST MODE started in 2006 when Sir Charles move from Virginia to LA. He was on the prowl to find an elite group of dancers to train with and under him to do club show and to participate in the Choreographers Carnival. He has now a total of seven Carnival pieces under his belt, BEAST MODE never had an official name in the past, they were just a group of friends that always got together to do performances for Sir Charles. The group of friends would take class, go out to clubs to freestyle and just to have a good time together.
In December 2008, they started realizing that they were becoming what would be defined as a crew. Beast Mode would have rehearsals about two or three times a week and were performing practically every weekend. Taeko wanted to be part of a closer family-like dance crew and got the rest of the soon to be called BEAST MODE members to get serious about becoming a crew. Members were all carefully chosen for their ability to work well as a tight nit crew, their personal specialities in dance, their ability to stay at a constant high showmanship level of performance, and their positive work ethics. With Sir Charles and the remaining six chosen Beast Mode members, they hope to represent for the whole crew in the highest level possible on Americas Best Dance Crew.”
Creating a collage requires you to combine various pieces of newspapers, photographs, fabric, paint, etc. into one creation of a design. When this became a distinctive part of modern art, it was Pablo Picasso and Georges Braque who decided upon it's name, which derives from “Coller”, meaning 'Glue' in French. Collage's are becoming promising as future creative outlet's, as they show the artist exploration into different, experimental and new things to sometimes gain that unexpected but unique outcome.

"Taeko Carroll was raised in two completely different cultures; Japanese and American. As a result of this, her spoken Japanese is as fluent as her English. As a child Taeko was very athletic, getting involved with many sports. This has played a great part in moulding the person she is today but music and dance had an equally great role in her life. Throughout a lifetime of dance, she has trained in many different styles: Balkan and Japanese folk dance; ballet; jazz; modern; and tap. She has done Vietnamese and Turkish dancing, Armenian and Israeli, Romanian and Croatian. In effect, she has danced the world, but her heart landed forever in American hip hop.
MTV's hit show, "America's Best Dance Crew" (ABDC) saw Fysh n Chicks make it to the final 5 on the shows 1st season. As of now, Taeko is working on developing her music career (both instrumental and vocal) and among other things, getting new crew BEAST MODE to an internationally known level."
